'Quantico' season 2 spoilers, news: Alex tries to get closer to Owen; lead star Priyanka Chopra sustains on-set injury
The recruits learn the art of seduction on the upcoming episode of ABC's crime drama "Quantico" season 2.
Titled "Cleopatra," next week's midseason premiere features a new lesson for the trainees. According to the official synopsis, the recruits are taught about the art of seduction and how they can use it to their advantage. Alex (Priyanka Chopra) sees the discussion as a perfect opportunity to get closer to Owen (Blair Underwood), threatening her relationship with Ryan (Jake McLaughlin). Meanwhile, in the future, Alex finally gets the answers she has been looking for regarding the terrorists' motives.
On another note, lead star Chopra fell while doing a stunt on the show's New York set last Thursday. Chopra was reportedly taken to a hospital nearby after hitting her head. A source claims that Chopra was filming a stunt with a guest star for an upcoming episode. While doing the action sequence, she slipped and fell, hitting her head on the ground. The accident resulted in a minor concussion.
After being examined, the actress was immediately released and is now recovering at home. The 34-year-old wasn't able to attend an ABC press event Friday morning, and reporters were told that she wasn't feeling well that time. In addition, Chopra's doctor also ordered her to stay home and rest.
Despite the scary incident, production for the series wasn't stopped. A rep for the program said during the press event that Chopra would return to work this week. On Sunday, the Indian actress thanked her fans for their overwhelming support and encouraging messages after her accident.
"Thank you for all your warm thoughts and well wishes," Chopra wrote on Twitter. "I will be ok, and am looking forward to getting back to work as soon as I can. Much [love]," she went on to say.
The second season of "Quantico" returns Monday, Jan. 23, at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
