'Rainbow Six Siege' news update: Four new 'season' contents may be released next year; new patch releases on Nov. 17
"Rainbow Six Siege" will have new contents ready for next year. This has delighted the fans even more as Ubisoft has been very generous in giving contents.
"Rainbow Six Siege" already received three major expansions, including "Operation Skull Rain," "Operation Dust Line" and "Operation Black Ice." There is an upcoming "Operation Red Crow," in which its trailer video has shown a Japanese setting and is up for release on Nov. 17.
It was during the earnings call when Ubisoft announced that they already gathered over 10 million registered players with "Rainbow Six Siege," "The Crew" and "The Division," mentioning the fact that the title has increased its daily active players by 40 percent following the "Operation Skull Rain" DLC.
The success of "Rainbow Six Siege" may have paved the way for another round of content for a year. They announced it both on Twitter and at the "Rainbow Six Pro League Finals," which happened over the weekend.
"The past year has been an incredible journey, and we are excited to have you join us for another full year of content!" they wrote on their Twitter account.
If the studio's release pattern will be unchanged, players will be able to receive four "season" DLCs, according to PlayStation Lifestyle. The "Operation Red Crow" is ready to go live in a couple of days, releasing two new Japanese operators and a new map called Skyscraper.
Players who were not able to view the "Rainbow Six Pro League Finals" has the option to watch the entire event below. Avid players have created a list of the changes Ubisoft has announced during the online event.
The changes will be seen in Patch 5.0, which include shield skins, new universal skins, new charms, a vamped design for Twitch and her drone's screen, among others. The upcoming patch will be released this Thursday, so stay tuned for more details.
