"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" will be getting four new counter-terrorism units and eight new operators from the Rainbow team. Meanwhile, Kotaku has named "Rainbow Six Siege" as one of the hardest games to survive in.

"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" is a first-person shooter video game, which was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. The player will take the form of an operator from the Rainbow team, a counter-terrorist unit, wherein they will try to defuse a situation or take advantage of one, depending on which side of the attack is played.

"Rainbow Six Siege" was launched in December 2015, and it came with 11 maps and five different gameplay modes.

For the title's Year 2, Ubisoft has announced what's in store for the gamers of "Rainbow Six Siege" in its upcoming DLC pack.

In Year 2, the Rainbow team will be taking on missions in Spain, Hong Kong, Poland, and South Korea. Four new maps will be introduced and explored from these countries, and eight new operators from new CTUs will be joining in.

Ubisoft has begun distributing the Year 2 Pass last Nov. 29, and there are several benefits that holders will receive if they have purchased it before Feb. 7 next year.

The Year 2 Pass entails one year of VIP premium membership, which will give players access eight exclusive headgears, eight unique uniforms, R6 Carbon charm, and 600 R6 Credits, including the previously mentioned new maps and operators.

Meanwhile, Univision Communications video game website and blog, Kotaku, dubbed "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" as "one of the hardest games to stay alive in."

"To put it simply, this game is excruciatingly hard to play. When you die in a round, you are done. It doesn't take much to die either. One bullet can take you out, especially if it's to the head," the post read.

According to Kotaku, players of "Rainbow Six Siege" are pushed to go outside of the box, especially in looking for escape routes and taking out characters from the map. How the game turns out is entirely dependent on how the players attack or defend as a team.
