"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is the latest entry in the long-running survival horror game franchise, which has been praised for re-embracing the haunting atmospheric terror of earlier games.

Gamers fill in the shoes of Ethan Winter, a man in search for his missing wife. His search leads him to a plantation mansion owned by the Baker family, a group of murderous psychopaths who attacked and imprisoned him.

The latest "Resident Evil 7" is deemed by many as an incredible video game, and it will likely be hailed as one of the best in the franchise. However, it is not without flaws, such as the game's boss battles.

The one-on-one butcher room chainsaw duel with Jack Baker may be visually appealing because of the first-person perspective, but the match could be confusing and frustrating because it could drag on for a bit too long.

However, according to a guide published by PC Gamer, gamers could finish the duel faster by keeping a few things in mind.

The first tip: get the shotgun. The more tools at the player's disposal, the better. Although using the shotgun won't be easy, having additional methods for knocking Jack to the ground is still helpful. Players will need a Scorpion Key, which is found beyond a blue gate in the Processing Area of the house in the basement. Then, gamers should head for the door with a scorpion on it. Inside is a broken shotgun, which players will have to replace with the statue's working shotgun found in the main entrance hall.

It is also recommended for players to shoot Jack in the knees to stagger him, which is useful whenever he is charging at Ethan with massive chainsaw scissors that block Jack's face. Once he is on his knees, Jack's bald head is exposed for the kill.

If a gamer manages to grab a chainsaw, he can use that to block most damage from Jack's swings, with the exception of his charge attack. It is also important to get as many tonics as possible. In case a gamer runs out of tonics, another tonic is hidden in the corner of the arena.

Most importantly, like in any other game, patience is key. The battle is sure to go on for a long time so, there is no need to rush the entire process.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is now available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, Xbox One, and PC.
