The PC demo for "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" finally landed on Steam after Capcom released it on gaming consoles.

The Beginning Hour demo, which was initially released exclusively for PlayStation 4 (PS4) in June before it came out on Xbox One in early December, is now available for download on Steam. In a post on the official Capcom page, the game developer revealed that there are "a multitude of PC-specific settings and graphics options to adjust to your liking for the best possible experience with Resident Evil 7 Biohazard" on the PC edition of the game's teaser.

To fully enjoy the "Resident Evil 7: biohazard" Beginning Hour demo, PC gamers must have 64 bit Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 operating system (OS), 8GB of random-access memory (RAM), DirectX 11, as well as DirectSound compatibility. They should also have at least Intel Core i5-4460, 2.70GHz or AMD FXâ„¢-6300 processor or higher, but it will be best if they have Intel Core i7 3770 3.4GHz or AMD equivalent processor or higher. As for the graphics card, the minimum requirement is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or AMD Radeonâ„¢ R7 260x with 2GB Video RAM, but it would be better if they use 4GB VRAM.

Meanwhile, the final demo update for PlayStation 4 was also released early this month. Those who downloaded the new update can now enjoy the demo using the optional PlayStation virtual reality (PSVR) mode. On the other hand, those with PlayStation 4 Pro-compatible TVs can start playing the demo in 4K resolution and enjoy getting high-dynamic range (HDR) support.

In another news, "Resident Evil" executive producer Jun Takeuchi revealed in an interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine UK that will be published in January 2017 that the upcoming installment will also use the same feature as "Resident Evil 4" in which the game will be made a little easier whenever a player finds it difficult to finish a specific section.

"We're trying to smooth the process of getting back into the game after dying, rather than limit any of the possibility of dying, because making the game too easy would also detract from the horror experience," Takeuchi stated in the interview as spotted by PowerUp Gaming. "Survival horror has to have a certain volume of player deaths to occur in order for the horror to be effective; you're scared of the idea that your character died, not of the mechanic of dying."

Capcom will release the "Resident Evil 7: biohazard" for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Tuesday, Jan.24, 2017.
