After months and months of waiting and speculation, there is still no official word on when the third season of the adult cartoon series "Rick and Morty" will premiere. For the time being, there is something new and related to the show that fans can look forward to while the cartoon series' showrunners bide their time in the production of season 3.

In the events that transpired in the finale of "Rick and Morty" season 2, the Galactic Federation has taken control of the planet Earth. Upon arriving on their home planet, Morty and his family have found a much-changed world, with aliens roaming the streets and humans required to be registered and monitored.

Based on that scenario, Adult Swim has published a mock website for the Galactic Federation. The show's official Twitter account has shared a link to the site while also urging fans to avail of the MyFederation Rewards Card.

On the homepage of the mock website, the rewards that cardholders are entitled to are listed, which includes biometric installation, parasite removal, complimentary monitoring, familial liquidation, and even teeth upgrades.

"Joining the Galactic Federation isn't just mandatory monitoring and resource rationing. You're also entitled to HUGE savings on intergalactic goods and services with MyFederation Rewards," the website's description about the MyFederation Rewards Card reads, adding, "Go ahead, treat yourself to that quantum phaser or tactical dentures, it's YOUR CHOICE!"

As reported by Den of Geek, the MyFederation Rewards Card does not actually exist. In fact, clicking on the link provided on the website to avail the Rewards Card leads to a hidden social media site for Gromflomites. The forum features a lot of fictional content regarding various alien cultures as well as these aliens' confused views about the planet Earth and its human residents.

As for the release date of season 3, Adult Swim has yet to announce a specific date. However, there are speculations that "Rick and Morty" might return sometime between March and April of this year. As previously reported, series co-creator Dan Harmon attributed the main reason for the show's delay to slow writing and has even taken the blame on why the third season kept on getting delayed.

"Rick and Morty" season 3 is expected to air sometime in early 2017.
