Samsung has suffered from the issues of their newly released Galaxy Note 7 phablets. Several reports of overheating and battery explosion all over the world have prompted the South Korean tech giant to order a total recall of all released Galaxy Note 7 units. This move surely affected the stocks of the company, but it will never be too late for Samsung to bounce back by presenting something new and impressive to the public.

According to the latest rumors, it is likely that Samsung will still order the next iteration of the Galaxy Note phablet. This is even after the failure of the company with the Galaxy Note 7. The Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be released in the early months of 2017, which is quite new because Samsung tends to unveil the latest iteration of their flagship devices during the last half of a certain year.

Further supporting the 2017 release date of the Galaxy Note 8 is the confirmation of Samsung itself that they will be handing out the new Galaxy Note 8 units in exchange for the presumably defective Galaxy Note 7 phablets.

It is also rumored that the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone, which is also expected to be released next year, will also sport the same design and specs features that the Galaxy Note 8 also has. This could be a wise move especially that the company does not want to make the Galaxy Note 8 as close as its predecessor due to its issues.

Regarding the release of the new Samsung phablet, tech analyst Patrick Moorhead predicts that the device will be out as early as January next year. It is possible that the Galaxy Note 8 will be released at the Consumers Electronic Show (CES) 2017 in January, or possibly at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in March 2017.

According to Tech Times, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will boast a 4K curved Super AMOLED screen display. Another interesting change is that the S Pen of the Galaxy Note 8 will receive a speak of its own.
