Samsung Galaxy S6 Release Date, Specs Rumors: Galaxy S6 to Arrive April 2015?
With the most recent Apple release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the Samsung Galaxy S6 shouldn't be too far away if the company wants to remain competitive.
The path is now clear and with the rumored end of the Google Nexus phones, the S6 could be the strongest contender to all flagship phones to be released.
Samsung is certainly already hard at work doing their best to create the best phone yet. They will want to avoid any controversies such as the iPhone 6 Plus bending drama, or the botched iOS 8.0.1 release.
Not much has been released regarding specifications and release date, but with a good guess based on history, market standing and a little bit of common sense, it is easy to come up with reasonable speculation.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to still have the Super AMOLED Screen with 2560 x 1440, just like the Galaxy Note 4. Also, the phone is expected to have a bigger screen than the previous S5.
As for the processor, users expect a 64-bit processor with a Snapdragon 810 or 808 chip. Although there has been no word about the RAM, assuming that the S6 will have a 64-bit processor, then the safest bet is 3Gb or 4GB.
As for the announcement date, there have been no official announcements from Samsung just yet. However, basing on the company's yearly product cycle, it is likely that the phone will be announced sometime in March 2015, reports Tech Radar.
The release of the phone should come approximately one month after the announcement, which we can easily estimate to be on April of next year. We can remember the Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5 to have been launched on April 2013 and April 2014 respectively, so April 2015 for the S6 is a safe bet.
