After the successful release of Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, tech observers have shifted their focus on the next iteration of the company's flagship smartphone. According to the latest reports, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 will come with a new camera feature dubbed as the Smart Glow.

According to Sam Mobile, this feature is expected to debut on another device called Samsung Galaxy J7 2016. The publication said that the South Korean tech giant has decided to use this technology on their future releases including the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge.

The new feature is said to appear like a warning device placed around the main camera of the handset. It is said to light up in different colors, alerting users when someone sends messages or calls.

According to reports, the Smart Glow will also warn its users when the device is running out of power and it needs to be charged.

As of the moment, there are no other details found over the Internet regarding the company's latest technology. As expected, Samsung has continued to stay quiet with regard to any rumor and speculation involving the Galaxy S8.

Meanwhile, Patently Mobile mentioned in their report that the upcoming smartphone will arrive with a dual display. Although fans and critics could not provide a clear picture of how the Galaxy S8 would look like, it will be interesting to see its final design once the company decides to unveil it.

Previous rumors suggested that the next iteration of Samsung's flagship smartphone will come with a full 4K resolution support. There are reports saying that part of Samsung's plan is to give a much better virtual reality or VR experience to consumers. With its remarkable display technology, there is no question that the company could very well do that.

As of the moment, there is no solid information as to when the device will be released; however, it is expected to come sometime next year.
