Looking at the fact that Tony Parker cannot be with the San Antonio Spurs forever, there are a lot of reports speculating on who could be a worthy replacement.

The Spurs are still one of the best teams in the league and are believed to be one of the few who have a legitimate shot at winning the NBA championship in the coming season.

At the moment, Parker can be found at its helm of it but he cannot play forever. Morning News USA reported that a source close to the Toronto Raptors is linking the Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry as a possible replacement for the French man.

Lowry is currently one of the main players of the Raptors and many believe that he should be with the franchise for a long time.

However, in an interview with The Vertical, Lowry revealed that he is open to other offers if he feels the Raptors do not want to keep him.

He said, "I think it should be a situation where a guy shouldn't have to talk to another team.

"DeMar [DeRozan] didn't have the chance to talk to another team. For me, I think that at 12:01 a.m. on July 1 — something should be close. If not, I'm open to seeing what else is out there."

This means that Lowry wants to play for the Raptors, but if he feels that Toronto is hesitating on giving him what he is due, then he may find somewhere else to play.

Given that Lowry is 30 years old, he has a relatively small window to break through the ranks and possibly win a championship.

If he does not get the chance with the Raptors, the point guard will likely look for other options and the Spurs definitely look like a decent spot for Lowry to land.

It is all a matter of timing and availability for both parties if this will ever come to fruition. But at the moment, Lowry is concentrating on giving the Raptors something to cheer about.
