Liv (Kerry Washington) will take a swing at Vanessa (Jessalyn Gilsig) to put her in her place. Meanwhile, Cyrus (Jeff Perry) will try to prove his innocence through Tom (Brian Letscher).

On the next episode of "Scandal" season 6, titled "They All Bow Down," Olivia will get into a fight with Vanessa which will make her put out her claws on Jake's (Scott Foley) wife.

As seen from the episode 5 promo, Vanessa calls Liv her husband's slut, which made the latter threaten her to keep talking and pinned her on the wall. It is anticipated that Olivia will put Vanessa in her place to keep their relationship from affecting the campaign.

"Jake and Vanessa's messy relationship poses a threat to the campaign, forcing Olivia to take action. Meanwhile, a game-changing revelation about the conspiracy surrounding Francisco Vargas's (Ricardo Chavira) assassination is revealed," the synopsis from a listing on The Futon Critic reads.

Meanwhile, Cyrus has found out that Tom is innocent of Frankie's death, which he will try to use to prove his own innocence.

Perry shared in an interview with Variety, "Cyrus' personal belief is that he's very innocent and that he's not even implicated through Tom, so he sees a little window to actually be sprung from prison."

The actor also revealed that the cast already knows who killed Frankie, but the killer's identity might not be revealed until episode 9 of "Scandal" season 6.

When asked if Papa Pope (Joe Morton) could be responsible for Frankie's murder, "That's where my head and where Cyrus' head goes first," the actor shared.

But given that he's the obvious suspect, it is highly possible that Papa Pope has nothing to do with Frankie's murder as he describes the show's writers as "professional surprisers."

"Scandal" season 6 returns with episode 5 titled "They All Bow Down" on Sunday, March 9, at 9 p.m. ET on ABC.
