'Scandal' season 6 spoilers: Explosive new teaser hints of someone in grave danger
If the latest teaser for "Scandal" season 6 is anything to go by, not everyone will be safe come the new season of the hit ABC drama.
Everyone in the clip—Liv (Kerry Washington), Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) and Abby (Darby Stanchfield)—all looked horrified in the situation they were in.
The most worrying part is that the explosion of a cabin, where a character or two could be inside. With that said, "Scandal" season 6 might lead to someone's death.
Also of note in this teaser is Fitz appearing to be comforting Liv. She will not be the only who will need consoling though, with the anxious look on the face of the outgoing president of the United States.
A full trailer for "Scandal" season 6 will be released today, Nov. 3. It should provide fans a better understanding on the snippet of intense moments shown in the teaser.
The upcoming season will be the most intense yet as a new president and vice president will be elected. The premiere will actually take place during election night.
There are a lot of talks as to which candidate will be the leaders of the country come "Scandal" season 6, but whoever will get to White House, chaos will not really be completely gone.
As to what to expect as far as this storyline go, this is what executive producer Shonda Rhimes had to say during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
"We are basically going to start our season on election night. Yes, it is going to play into our season, but we're not going to spend our time playing an election," the EP emphasized.
Either way, "Scandal" season 6 could find a new president and vice president in Republican nominee Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) and vice presidential choice Jake Ballard (Scott Foley), or Democratic hopeful Francisco Vargas (Ricardo Chavira) and his VP Cyrus Beene (Jeff Perry).
"Scandal" season 6 will premiere 6 next year on ABC.
