'Scream Queens' season 2 episode 8 spoilers: A Green Meanie is unmasked as Zayday uncovers truth about serial murders

With only three episodes left in its sophomore year, FOX's horror comedy series "Scream Queens" will sure be piling up the revealing twists regarding the real Green Meanie's identity. With so much vengeful threats vying to end her life, will Chanel (Emma Roberts) survive the season finale this time around?

The preview for the episode titled "Rapunzel, Rapunzel" is packed with hinted twists and surprises as the mystery surrounding the Green Meanie's identity comes to a head with Zayday (Keke Palmer) possibly catching one of them red-handed. But which one will this Green Meanie turn out to be?

So far, two Green Meanies have already been revealed to the viewers: Nurse Hoffel (Kristie Alley), who turned out to be the sister of the Kappa Kappa Tau's housekeeper whom Chanel accidentally killed in the first season, and Dr. Cascade (Taylor Lautner), who was the baby in the womb back in 1985. However, a third one is still roaming the halls of the C.U.R.E. Institute Hospital with a vendetta of his or her own.

With everything that's been going on at Dean Munsch's (Jamie Lee Curtis) ethically questionable hospital, everybody's a potential suspect, even the man from Munsch's past who checks in the institute in the next episode. Will his presence threaten a jealous Dr. Holt (John Stamos) so much that his newly transplanted hand ends up revealing itself to be as much of a ruthless murderer as the last one? Or will this new guy turn out to be more than who he claims to be, and wanting to win Munsch's affections back is a just a front for a deadly ulterior motive?

Meanwhile, Zayday teams up with the institute's volunteer candy striper, Chamberlain (James Earl), to uncover the origins of the Green Meanie. Their daring endeavor may lead to some shocking results. What will they discover and how will this revelation play into the three remaining episodes of the season? Will everything turn out to be one huge vengeful plot aimed at ending Chanel's life?

"Scream Queens" season 2 episode 8 will air on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 9:01 p.m. EST on FOX.
