The highly popular adventure shooter game, "Star Wars: Battlefront," was first launched in November 2015, and since then, Electronic Arts has frequently released additional downloadable content packs (DLCs) for the video game. Nearly a year after the game's release, a new DLC is set to arrive this week and is expected to be the most interesting add-on yet for "Star Wars: Battlefront." For the first time, the players can now experience flying around the deep space with the use of well-known "Star Wars" space crafts. Also, two heroes are going to be playable upon the DLC pack's release.

As reported by Cinema Blend, the upcoming "Death Star" DLC will dig deeper into the nature of the infamous planet destroyer. The latest teaser for the DLC shows the additional contents to the "Star Wars: Battlefront" gameplay, including five new playable maps and a new set of weapons. The additional weapons include the heavy machine shooters, K-16 Bryar Pistol and the TL-50t Heavy Repeater. The players will also be given access to new Star Cards that can be used to customize their characters.

It was also revealed that Darth Vader's Tie Advanced and Luke Skywalker's Red Five X-Wing can now be piloted. The players can now experience flying aboard popular "Star Wars" spaceships while going to deep space missions.

The popular "Star Wars" characters, Chewbacca and Bossk, are now playable heroes, at last. The two will play a very important role in either destroying the Death Star or defending it against the space rebels. Chewbacca, or Chewie, is a known partner of Han Solo, while Bossk is a fearsome space pirate and at one point became Darth Vader's servant.

In the original "Star Wars" films, Chewbacca is known to be a highly vigorous character, and in "Star Wars: Battlefront," he is expected to be helpful in dangerous close-combat missions, Digital Trends reported.

"Chewbacca has more health than most heroes and a small amount of armor that allows him to be the much-needed Rebel tank," EA Dice stated in their blog post. "Chewbacca may not move as fast as the other Rebel heroes, but his damage absorption more than makes up for it."
