"Switched at Birth" season 5 may be the show's last, but it promises to go out with a bang, as series creator Lizzy Weiss promised. She took to social media to give the show's eager fans an idea of what moments may transpire during a future episode in the last season's run.

Weiss posted on Twitter, Wednesday, June 1, "Here's a #SwitchedatBirth Season 5 preview: we use Fight On by @NatTaylorMusic in a big moment & I'm listening to it all the time now."

She did not elaborate on what the "big moment" was, but it must be significant for her to have taken the time to share the bit of news as well as to be constantly reminded of it by tuning in to the song "all the time."

The show had shot its last frames in April, and Weiss may have feasted on nostalgia the period following, tweeting about that last shoot, describing what the day had been like and how everyone involved in the show as well as their families had stopped by.

She wrote, "We shot the final scene of the series as the actual final scene of the series in the same place we shot the first scene of the pilot, five and a half years ago." She went on to say, "The weather was perfect. The house was stunning against the night sky. All of my writers drove in for the final shot. Cast who weren't in the scene or even the episode came in to be part of the moment."

She also revealed that everyone's family had stopped by to share mementos, a drink or two, and some well-wishing cards, snapping pictures and taking in the scene of the house while celebrating each other and the once-in-a-lifetime moments they shared.

"Switched at Birth" is one of very few shows that have touched on deaf culture, racism, audism, as well as other social issues. Katie Leclerc, who has Meniere's disease and hearing loss as a result, stars as a deaf teenager, Daphne Vasquez, who was switched at birth and given to the wrong family.

The fifth and final season of the series "Switched at Birth" will premiere on Freeform in January 2017.
