Rapunzel will once again let down her ultra-long hair based on the trailer for the new "Tangled" sequel.

Based on the trailer for the original TV movie "Tangled: Before Ever After" released by Disney Channel, Rapunzel's (Mandy Moore) long, magical blonde hair mysteriously grew back even if her love interest, Eugene (Zachary Levy), cut it off dramatically at the end of the hit 2010 film.

The trailer also introduced a new character named Cassandra, portrayed by Broadway actress Eden Espinosa. Cassandra will serve as Rapunzel's handmaiden-turned-confidante, who will be assigned to cut her long hair. But once Cassandra tried to run a pair of scissors on Rapunzel's hair, the scissors will shatter into pieces.

However, fans can notice that the upcoming TV series will no longer have the 3D computer-generated imagery (CGI) animation that was introduced in the blockbuster film. Instead, the original TV series will feature a classic 2D animation.

Aside from Moore and Levy, Jeffrey Tambor will reprise his role as Big Nose while Paul F. Tompkins will be back to lend his voice as one of the Snuggly Duckling Pub Thugs named Shorty. M.C. Gainey will also return to the series as the Captain of the Guards.

Meanwhile, Espinosa will be joined by other new cast members including Jeff Ross as Hook Hand's brother Hook Foot, Sean Hayes as Pete the Guard, Richard Kind as Uncle Monty, Clancy Brown as Rapunzel's father named King Frederic, "Supergirl" actor Jeremy Jordan as teen alchemist Varian, "Glee" alum Jonathan Banks as Varian's father Quirin, as well as Emmy Award-winning actress Ashley Judd as Rapunzel's mother Queen Arianna.

"Tangled: Before Ever After" is slated to air on Disney Channel sometime in March. It will pave the way for a new TV animation series titled "Tangled: The Series," which will also come out later this year.
