Taylor Swift New Songs for '1989' Deluxe Version: Singer Releases 3 New Tracks

Do you wanna hear more of Taylor Swift's music?

You're in luck because the "Blank Space" singer just announced that she will be releasing three bonus tracks in her "1989" album on iTunes, starting with "Wonderland" on Tuesday night.

But the Entertainment Weekly clarified that Swift's three new songs are not technically new with Swift confirming the packaging of the bonus songs with the deluxe version of her most recent album.

The deluxe edition of "1989" will be making its way to Apple's music service one song at a time – a couple of months after its original release in October last year.

The first track to hit the Apple music retailer, "Wonderland," is already out now with the original songs "You Are in Love" and "New Romantics" set to be joining the tracks on the platform.

A representative from Swift's camp failed to respond to request for comment on the timing of the iTunes additions.

Swift's fifth studio album "1989" debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 when it came out. It went on to become 2014's best-selling album, Billboard said.

The global pop sensation made the announcement just a few days after her most recent single, "Style," came out last week.

"Taylor Swift mega fans were forced to buy the deluxe CD version of her newest album if they wanted a legal way to hear the three bonus tracks," The Verge said.

"The iTunes edition of 1989 only included the 13 tracks available on the standard album. The pop megastar pulled her entire catalog from streaming service Spotify last year, leading to a much-publicized spat," it added.

Despite restricting access to her music, Swift was able to succeed because she's one of the few pop stars big enough to reliably sell a vast number of CDs in today's music industry.

"By drip-feeding the bonus tracks onto iTunes several months after the CD hit shelves, she's also showing she can manipulate the digital market to keep her stock high," the Verge report noted.

Last week, Swift's latest full-length album had three songs in the Top 20 of the Hot 100 chart. "Style" jumped up to No. 18 and joined "Blank Space" and "Shake It Off."
