'Teen Mom OG' recap, spoilers, news and updates: Farrah unable to get along with her mom; Maci holds a successful family dinner
"Teen Mom OG," the follow-up to MTV's "16 and Pregnant" reality show, is living up to the drama with several new issues during the last episode, adding a spotlight on teen mom Farrah Abraham's relationship issues with her mother, and Maci Bookout's continuing civil relations with someone she used to not get eye-to-eye with.
In the last episode, Farrah and her mom, Debra Danielsen attempted to bond by doing some gardening work. However, it did not end up so well as Farrah got stressed out later on and started yelling at her own mom. A crying Debra, on the other hand, told producers after the footage that she is so "tired of being unloved."
Debra still tried to connect with Farrah by helping her out with the opening of the furniture store. Yet as they were in the salon, relaxing after business work, Farrah snapped at her mom and yelled again.
Simon Saran, Farrah's ex, advised her that she should get along with her mom, and she should learn to communicate with her better. However, Farrah is still being defensive and insists that it is her mom who makes scenes anyway.
Meanwhile, Maci had been doing well with her wedding preparations — even inviting the father of her seven-year-old daughter, Ryan Edwards, and his new girlfriend, to a friendly dinner along with her now fiancé, Taylor McKinney.
At first, Maci was tense that it might get awkward, but the dinner went well, and she was happy that her daughter experienced a good gathering with both her parents and their partners present.
As for the upcoming episode of "Teen Mom OG," fans expect to see more of Farrah's business ventures, particularly her boutique which was opened on behalf of her daughter, Sophia. Fans are still waiting how the teen mom star will address the allegations that she is overworking her daughter, despite already saying that Sophia is just participating for fun.
"She's doing a normal schedule, she's included in everything, but there is a fine line of she's 7 and she will always be 7," Farrah said.
