'Teen Wolf' season 6 air date, spoilers: Beacon Hills forgets Stiles in series' farewell season
Something worse than death is about to come to Beacon Hills and it has its sights set on one of the fans' favorite characters. "Teen Wolf" is about to roll into its sixth and final season, and it seems that things will not bode well for everyone, especially not for one of its main guys.
Entertainment Weekly recently cited the new promotional poster released by MTV featuring best friends Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) and Stiles Stilinski (Dylan O'Brien). It seems to be the perfect image to represent the show's send-off season. After all, everything started with Scott and Stiles going into the woods one unfortunate night to check out a dead body. Stiles ended up getting caught by his father, the town sheriff (Linden Ashby), while Scott was bitten by a werewolf.
The two friends have since gone on one supernatural adventure after another, meeting both friends and foes along the way. Despite this, they have remained friends and each other's most trusted ally. But the upcoming season may bring about a challenge that could test their friendship to its very limit.
The official trailer released by MTV did not only hint at the final season's adversaries and what they could do. It also teased how the entire town of Beacon Hills would forget that Stiles ever existed. This is all thanks to the creatures known as the Ghost Riders and the Wild Hunt mythology they will bring along when they arrive in town on horseback.
Unlike the previous villains in the show, the Ghost Riders are different because their intentions are not necessarily evil. They come into Beacon Hills and are forced by duty more than will to take people along with them on the Wild Hunt.
But they don't just take people. The Ghost Riders also erase whoever they take from the memories of everyone they ever know. The worst part of it is that they seen to be stuck in Beacon Hills for some reason.
Both the promotional poster and the trailer make it very clear that Stiles is at the core of the Ghost Rider's hunt. Will he ever make Beacon Hills remember him again once everybody has forgotten him?
Fans of the show will find out when "Teen Wolf" returns for its final season on Tuesday, Nov. 15 on MTV.
In the meantime, here's a 360 video of Scott and Lydia Martin (Holland Roden), two of Beacon Hills' protectors, warning fans about the Ghost Riders.
