'Teen Wolf' season 6 episode 10 spoilers: Major Stiles–Lydia moment up ahead; Scott's pack fights Ghost Riders

Scott's (Tyler Posey) pack fights against the Ghost Riders on the upcoming episode of "Teen Wolf" season 6.

Titled "Riders on the Storm," this week's episode will see a familiar character's return. To give viewers an idea of what's to come, the official synopsis reads: "With the fate of Beacon Hills hanging in the balance, Scott and his pack face off against Douglas in a final showdown." Aside from the big fight against good and evil, fans are also looking forward to Stiles' (Dylan O'Brien) return. There are speculations that Lydia (Holland Roden) will finally return Stiles' romantic feelings for her.

A new promo clip for the upcoming midseason finale has been released, and it teases an intense scene involving Stiles and Lydia. As noted by reports, Lydia's effort to remember Stiles and her true love for him actually open the rift. This means that Stiles could get back to Beacon Hills and leave the Wild Hunt alive.

In the short teaser, Stiles appears to be running toward the rift following Lydia's emotionally-charged confession. Despite the rift's terrifying appearance as it gradually opens, Stiles continues to walk towards it while Lydia's voice can be heard in the background. He realizes that he is close to getting out of the Wild Hunt, and he now has the chance to escape. The footage wraps up with Lydia calling him out and reaching for his hand, saying: "Stiles, don't stop! Keep going! I can see you, Stiles! Don't stop." Another episode promo already revealed that Stiles makes it back to his friends.

At the end of the hour, Scott and the rest of the pack must band together in order to stop Mr. Douglas' evil plans once and for all. Despite Stiles' return, fans speculate that his fate is still uncertain. O'Brien still has to shoot "The Maze Runner," which is due next year, leading viewers to wonder if the writers will kill off the character to make way for the actor's busy schedule.

The sixth and final season of "Teen Wolf" airs every Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
