'The 100' season 4 episode 2 spoilers: Bellamy, Clarke to make a tough decision
Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and Bellamy (Bob Morley) must make difficult decisions on the upcoming episode of "The 100" season 4.
Titled "Heavy Lies the Crown," the show's next episode will see the leaders deal with a new challenge. As doomsday inches closer, tough decisions must be made for the good of everyone. "The burden of leading weighs heavily upon Clarke and Bellamy when different challenges force them to determine who will live and die," reads the official synopsis.
Wednesday's season premiere picked up with Clarke and her friends planning for their future as a group. Clarke spent most of the time thinking about how she should deliver the bad news to her people before finally deciding to go with a town hall-style announcement. The Ice Nation took over Polis, while Roan (Zach McGowan) officially made Skaikru the 13th clan. Later in the episode, two unknown characters in the desert disintegrated, reinforcing the idea that the nuclear apocalypse is indeed a major problem and that the survivors need to act fast.
Now that Clarke and Bellamy are co-leaders, Taylor recently teased that she personally likes the new dynamic between them. "[Clarke and Bellamy] on the same team again, which is really cool," the actress told Den of Geek. "They're a real team and I really like where their storyline is going. There's a lot of mutual respect and they're kind of sharing the leadership role," she added.
Morley also caught up with the media outlet, and he revealed that although season 4 kicked off with Bellamy and Clarke together, they will part ways again. Similar to what happened in the past two seasons, the pair must embark on separate journeys for a while.
"They obviously will go out on their own journeys and they both have their own issues they have to deal with and demons they have to fight," Morley explained, "but, for the most part, in the beginning, there is that unity again. But, you know, everything's pretty short-lived. Everything that's peaceful is short-lived on this show," he went on to say.
The fourth season of "The 100" airs every Wednesday night at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
