The characters in "The 100" may be living in a post-apocalyptic world, but that doesn't mean romance has been forgotten. Fans have seen how Octavia mourned the death of Lincoln. Clarke would also have a hard time moving on from Lexa. However, the upcoming season seems to be teasing a new pair that fans would soon be shipping.

With the recent announcement that Zach McGowan would be reprising his role in "The 100" season 4, it seems a new love team is forming in the series.

Fans know that the Ice Nation's King Roan (Mc Gowan) spent much of his time chasing after Clarke (Eliza Taylor). However, recent tweets from Lindsey Morgan who plays resident mechanic Raven on the show seem to tease that Roan would be chasing someone new in the upcoming installment.

Using a slew of emojis, Morgan tweeted hints about the pairing of Raven and Roan, as evidenced by the ice cream and wrench emojis, with both used as a code for "Ice Mechanic," the name fans dubbed Raven and Roan's pseudo-relationship.

Zap2it noted that Raven and Roan had all of 30 seconds of shared screen time in season 3, but somehow, fans were able to see something between them; thus, "Ice Mechanic" was born. Whether Morgan's tweets were a clue or she was just messing with the fans is something viewers would know when "The 100" season 4 drops in.

Meanwhile, during the recent San Diego Comic-Con, Taylor dished on her character's coping mechanism now that Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) is gone. Speaking to TV Line's Andy Swift, she said Clarke would have a hard time moving on.

"I don't think she's ready to explore new love in her life. When you lose a loved one, you think that that's the end of love for you. That's just how humans react, that's how we grieve. But ... no matter how much she thinks that she'll never love again, I hope to God she does and I'm sure she will," the actress said.

A sizzle reel for the upcoming season was likewise unveiled at the SDCC, and creator Jason Rothenberg confirmed that the new big bad for "The 100" season 4 is an impending nuclear crisis. Apparently, Clarke would be at the top of this, as the fate of mankind is in her hands.

"I'm looking forward to the idea... of [Clarke] being able to stop apologizing for having to save the world all the time, and saving everyone," Taylor said.

"The 100" season 4 is expected to return to The CW early next year. In the meantime, keep coming back for more spoilers and updates about the show.
