'The 100' season 4 spoilers: Clarke-Lexa relationship leaves no hope for Bellarke?

After Lexa's (Alycia Debnam-Carey) death in the previous season, Bellarke fans are hoping that there would be a chance for Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) and Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley) to finally get together. If Lexa was still around, there would be no chance at all for the two. It seems fate may be allowing Griffin and Blake an opportunity to find new love.

However, Taylor is hinting that it may be difficult and possibly even dangerous. When asked if it is possible for her character to fall in love again, the actress shared, "I don't know. I don't know if that is a possibility for her given what she's just been through."

Taylor explained that it may be hard for the 18-year-old Arker to get over it, although she does hope her character will be able to cope with her loss.

The star added, "I want her to be happy, [but] it's 'The 100.'"

When asked to comment on the possibility that Bellarke will happen in the next season, the actress pointed out that, besides fans possibly not taking it well this soon after Lexa's death, Griffin might as well keep back.

To recount the series of love affairs on the show, none of these has ended well. In fact, all Griffin's partners have ended up having the same fate: death.

Take, for instance, her romance with Finn Collins (Thomas McDonell). Their affair had come to a screeching halt upon his death. Another love interest, Wells Jaha (Eli Goree), had been a victim of murder, and the painful thing was that he did not even get the chance to make things right between them before dying. Then the most recent was Lexa.

To suggest her character hooking up with Blake would be tantamount to suggesting his possible death. If fans would think about that, they may not be quick to suggest Bellarke, even if that would make for an interesting "The 100" season 4.

The show is returning to The CW in the fall.
