Fans will soon be treated to a trailer for "The 100" season 4, according to the post-apocalyptic drama's executive producer, Aaron Ginsburg.

On Twitter, he frequently gets asked about the trailer, which he revealed is the focus of his team at the moment and will be out really soon.

"We're working on it madly! As soon as it's done... you'll have it," he promised to one fan who asked when the trailer for "The 100" season 4 will be released.

It makes sense that it is now being worked on as the show is just a couple of months away from its highly-anticipated return to the small screen. In another tweet from last week, Ginsburg was asked the same thing and assured that fans will get their first look of "The 100" season 4 in next to no time. "The trailer is coming along great! We're perfectionists over here, and it's not perfect yet. Once it is, you'll see it. Promise," the EP said.

He also said a few weeks back that they are "working MADLY AWAY on an incredible trailer." He advised them to "prepare yourself" for its much-awaited unveiling.

From the looks of it, Ginsburg's team is taking their time to put together the trailer for "The 100" season 4 so that it will do the season justice, as it is believed to be the most explosive and darkest one yet.

In fact, the EP went so far as to say that the season includes the "most twisted, bloody" episode in the show's history and that there will be another warfare that will involve violence, blood and deaths.

"The 100" season 4 will see Clarke (Eliza Taylor) and company survive the nuclear horror that ALIE (Erica Cerra) set off before she was shut down. This limits the planet's inhabitability to six months.

There are also rumors of Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) finding a new man as he exacts her revenge for the death of Lincoln (Ricky Whittle).

"The 100" season 4 premieres Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2017 on The CW.
