The premiere episode of the 21st season of "The Bachelor" is just right around the corner, which means that Nick Viall will finally get his chance of finding the love of his life after several failed attempts on national TV.

Reports claimed that Nick will do everything that he can to find his own life partner after being dumped by Andi Dorfman and Kaitlyn Bristowe consecutively during the 10th and 11th season of "The Bachelorette." He also had his chance to find love in "Bachelor in Paradise" season 3, but his relationship with Jennifer Saviano did not push through.

This time, series host Chris Harrison hinted that the new Bachelor might have finally found what he was looking for among all the new roster of female contestants for season 21. "Look, the good news is it's worked for him. He has fallen in love on this show and he has sincerely tried to make it work. Unfortunately, he's just come up a little bit short each time. He's done his part, he will give himself to this process," the host stated in an interview with E! News.

Nick was an unexpected choice to star in "The Bachelor" this season, since it was his third time to appear in the long-running dating reality series. But he believed that he could still give something different this time.

"Relative to my peers in the past, I'm probably a bit more unconventional, and that might be a theme you will continue to see with me as the Bachelor," the 36-year-old sales executive from Milwaukee, Wisconsin stated in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "I'm not afraid to play by my own rules and follow my heart and do what I think is best, regardless of majority opinion."

Nick also claimed that he did not have any hesitations about doing the show.

ABC is slated to air the special one-hour preview of "The Bachelor" on Sunday, Jan. 1, while the two-hour season premiere is slated to air on Monday, Jan. 2.
