Sheldon (Jim Parsons) will be having a new invention that will help him read other people's feelings. Meanwhile, the series has not yet been confirmed for an 11th season despite the current one nearing its finale.

In the upcoming 14th episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 10, titled "The Emotion Detection Automation," Sheldon has a new invention that will help him understand his friends' feelings.

The synopsis posted on The Futon Critic reads, "Sheldon beta-tests an MIT invention after hearing it can help him read people's emotions. Also, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) can't hide his feelings when Penny (Kaley Cuoco) announces her brother is coming to town, and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) invites his ex-girlfriends over to give him dating advice."

As seen from the episode 14 promo, Sheldon talks about using his new machine to make him a more considerate friend. But the quirky Sheldon then adds, "It could also help me identify my enemies, discover their fears, and then use those fears to destroy them."

Meanwhile, an 11th season for "The Big Bang Theory" is still uncertain due to the lead actors of the series not having finalized their contracts yet for a new season. The series' lead cast members — Cuoco, Galecki, and Parsons — are currently on a $1 million per episode contract and are still ongoing negotiations to have new agreements for season 11.

Galecki shared with Entertainment Weekly that the writers of "The Big Bang Theory" are eager to write more episodes for the series, although the actor himself is unsure of how long he will be willing to play the role of Leonard on the show.

However, CBS chief Glen Geller is hopeful that the show will continue for more seasons to come. "We'll put it on for as long as everyone wants 'Big Bang' on the air," Geller said at the 2016 Television Critics Association press tour.

"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 airs every Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
