Available for both PC and consoles, the in-game event commenced on Dec. 15, and it features a number of activities. According to WWG, in order to gain access to the "New Life Festival" quest and to enjoy the promised activities, players will need to find Breda outside of Windhelm in the game. Doing this will grant access to different quests related to the special holiday event. Each quest is themed after Tamriel's different races, and each will take place in their respective zones.

With each completed quest, players will earn a New Life Gift Box, which contains various items such as a random crafting material (Provisioning ingredient, Alchemy reagent, or Health glyph), a consumable version of New Life-themed Memento, and a Skinchanger style item (Wolfsbane Incense). Players will also get a Skinchanger Motif chapter, a New Life recipe of other green, blue or gold quality, or a special New Life Collectible.

Players who will finish all the quests in style will also be receiving a new dye, New Life Cerulean, and a New Life Celebrant achievement. Completing all the New Life-related achievements will also entitle players to the "Magnanimous" title. Moreover, drinking Breda's Magnificent Mead will earn players double experience points for two hours.

In tandem with the "New Life Festival," "The Elder Scrolls Online," according to a post on its official website, will also make available several Crown Store items in order to get players' game characters styled up for the holiday season. Players are encouraged to check out the Crown Store Showcase for the exact dates that the items could be purchased.

The "New Life Festival" was officially launched by Bethesda for "The Elder Scrolls Online" on Dec. 15, and the event will conclude on Jan. 4 next year at 3 p.m. GMT.
