'The Flash' season 3 episode 2 news: Two new extended trailers see Barry making a huge mistake
A lot of fans were eager to see the "Flashpoint Paradox" during the third season of "The Flash" but were sad to know that it only lasted for one episode. However, it looks like more consequences are still coming for Barry (Grant Gustin). Two new promos have been released for the next episode of the CW series.
The second episode in the series is titled "Paradox," and it looks like it's going to conclude Barry's entire dilemma as he tries to undo the effects of his time-travelling.
The clips show an introduction for new characters like Barry's new co-worker, Julian Albert. Julian, portrayed by Tom Felton of the "Harry Potter" fame, seems to be in on Barry's superhero identity and he thinks that there's something "not normal" about Barry.
Fans will also be happy to see the return of the "first" Flash, Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp). Being a fellow speedster, he seems to know a lot about the consequences of time travel and he's there to help Barry figure out a way to set everything back to normal.
There also seems to be tension between Barry and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) because of the timeline changing. When Barry created another universe, Cisco was a rich billionaire but by putting everything back, Cisco may feel that Barry has robbed him of a life of fortune.
Though the clips are short they hint at the origin of multiple incoming characters. Dr. Alchemy is making his debut appearance and there are also clips of Kid Flash, Killer Frost and Savitar. Fan-favorite Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) is also making a return. The third season is said to have him go head to head with Mirror Master (Grey Damon).
The second episode of "The Flash" season three airs on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 8 p.m. EDT.
