Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) gets visions of being Kid Flash in the upcoming episode of "The Flash" season 3.

Titled "Shade," the next episode will see Barry (Grant Gustin) use his knowledge about the events from Flashpoint to keep one character safe. According to the official synopsis for episode 6, Wally begins having dreams about being Kid Flash. Barry eventually realizes that he has to tell Wally, Iris (Candice Patton) and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) about what happened to Wally in Flashpoint in an effort to keep him safe.

In the previous episodes, Wally appears to be dealing with some speedster jealousy issues. Candice Patton, who plays Iris in the series, recently caught up with IGN and shared Iris' point of view on what's happening with Barry and Wally.

"I think Iris is always going to worried about Wally jumping into anything head first," she explained. "He loves speed, he's a little hot headed and he's a little reckless. She's worried about him. Barry is different. He's a little more controlled and thoughtful with the things that he does. And Wally's just kind of doing whatever he wants whenever he wants to do it. I think she's worried about him, but she wants to support him always."

It was previously revealed that the Flashpoint story arc won't last the entire season, but it will certainly have repercussions that would reverberate all throughout the series. In a recent interview, executive producer Greg Berlanti confirmed that viewers will no longer see the original timeline from seasons one and two again.

"I'm not sure that we can [go back], given what we've established," he stated. "If we're not challenging ourselves and creating a new territory and new obstacles for the characters, it's less rewarding to watch and probably less rewarding [for the actors] to play."
