Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) as The Flash will have a new villain to battle in Central City. Meanwhile, the Golden Age Flash, Jay Garrick (Wesley Shipp), will return to see Barry.

Digital Spy reports that The Flash will have a new adversary with explosive powers. As see from the episode photos, the new villain has white hair, and he appears to be creating sparks everywhere.

Also in the fight scene are Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) and Vibe (Carlos Valdes) to help Barry defeat the mysterious new villain. Caitlin's (Danielle Panabaker) absence is suspicious because she could have been helpful in taking down the new villain with her frost powers.

But Caitlyn has struggled with trying to regulate her frost powers and control the Killer Frost within her, so it might be better for her to stay away from situations like these.

Meanwhile, Jay Garrick will be returning before the second half of "The Flash" season 3 comes to a close.

In an interview with CBR, Shipp revealed that a preview of a young Golden Age Flash might be featured on the show.

"Those hints keep being dropped. I mean, it's very interesting to me, and I'm going to figure in more prominently in the second half of the season than the first. You just asked one of my questions, because nothing is wasted, I think we've seen in this show. So anytime something like that is dropped — and there's more of it tomorrow night! — there are more," Shipp explained.

There are speculations that Shipp's character will have a more significant presence when he returns on "The Flash" season 3. It is possible that he will help in defeating Savitar instead of Kid Flash.

On the next episode of "The Flash" season 3, titled "Attack on Central City," Barry and his team will protect Central City from Grodd and his army from destruction.

"The Flash" season 3 airs every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
