'The Last Man on Earth' season 3 episode 4 spoilers: Survivors move out of Malibu; roadside chaos ensues

The Tucson survivors have packed up and moved out of their Malibu mansion and back out on the road. Although FOX's post-apocalyptic comedy has no zombies roaming the streets to cause the characters any trouble, the differences in their personalities could just as quickly cause roadside mayhem.

According to a brief episode synopsis on TV Guide, the fourth episode of "The Last Man on Earth" season 3 will see Tandy (Will Forte) and crew going on a road trip to find a new home, but not without hitting a few snags along the way.

The hopeful, cheery attitude they left with will soon crumble under the pressure of internal squabbles, with Gail (Mary Steenburgen) potentially being the first to lose control.

The preview for the fourth episode titled, "Five Hoda Kotbs" also showed hints of the kind of disagreements they may suffer while on the road, with the final few seconds culminating into Tandy announcing, "If there's anyone you don't wanna ride with, just hop in the other car," and everyone else hopping into Todd's (Mel Rodriguez) vehicle as a result.

It looks like Tandy will once again be in a rather adversarial role for doing what he thinks is right. Since what Tandy thinks is right hardly ever turns out right and they're no longer technically co-habiting, it looks like his groups' tolerance for him may just dry up before they even manage to find a new place.

Newcomer Lewis (Kenneth Choi) said in the previous episode that they could live anywhere they wanted to. Had he been hinting at the possibility of the Tucson survivors branching out and living in separate houses? What type of place will they choose to reside in next? 

Also, will Melissa's (January Jones) violent streak really prove to be an asset for the group, or will it end up putting them in danger in the long run? Will Pat (Mark Boone Junior) really be back to terrorize them once again?

"The Last Man on Earth" season 3 episode 4 airs on Sunday, Oct. 23, at 9:30 p.m. EDT on FOX.
