The highly anticipated "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" has been the subject of several rumors, yet its release date remains unannounced. It was previously reported that the title will not come alongside the launch of Nintendo Switch, but it seems that on the contrary, it will indeed come alongside the console.

According to Eurogamer, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will be released this March alongside the Nintendo Switch. This has got a lot of fans excited as the title already experienced a series of delays. The initial release date was supposedly in 2015 and planned to come out on Wii U alone. However, since the Switch is coming, it was decided to make it available for the upcoming console, causing the release date to be pushed even further.

Years have passed without "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" coming out in the open, leaving the enthusiasts saddened by the news that the title will come after the Switch launch. Then, things began to change when another news emerged that "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is coming this March and will be out with the anticipated console.

The exact release date remains to be unknown, but the publication reported that the title will be available in Japan and North America only. Europe and other countries may need to wait some more for the game to arrive.

Still, everything is still vague. Good thing, a Nintendo Switch event is happening in a few hours today and it is possible that the event will give details of when "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will be released. The livestream event is scheduled to start at 10:00 p.m. ACT on Nintendo's official website.
