MacBook Pro 2016 release date, specs update: New iteration to be revealed at WWDC 2016?
The MacBook Pro 2016 has become a hot topic ever since the current iteration came out last year. With the 2015 MacBook Pro being sold at a discounted price of $290, many believe that Apple is gearing up for the 2016 MacBook Pro release.
According to reports, the device will be revealed at the upcoming Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC 2016, which is set to take place in June.
If rumors prove to be true, the device could be available during the third quarter of this year. This will give tech freaks more options to choose from as Microsoft is also reported to roll out the upcoming Surface Book 2.
Nonetheless, both companies have yet to make both devices official as rumors of their releases continue to become rampant.
According to a report by NeuroGadget, the current MacBook Pro 2015 is available today at a very affordable price. Tech people who are interested in buying the device will not only get the discount, they can also bring home the bonus Apple SuperDrive. The external optical drive can be connected to the MacBook Pro using a USB connector. It is currently being sold on Amazon for $90 but it will be given for free if bought along with the MacBook Pro 2015.
It will be a great deal for whoever decides to buy the 2015 iteration. They will end up saving for up to $290 for a device that is powered by an impressive processor, which also runs on 16 GB of RAM. What's interesting about the 2015 model is the 1 TB internal storage capacity, which many fans wonder if Apple will put on more storage space on the upcoming 2016 version.
Meanwhile, it will be interesting to know what is in store for the MacBook Pro 2016. With Microsoft's plan to release the Surface Book 2 and the Surface Pro 5, Apple will surely raise the bar in the competition.
