'The Sims 4' DLC release date, news: Vampire DLC confirmed for winter; bowling pack revealed too
After a bunch of leaks and datamining, the vampire-themed downloadable content (DLC) has finally been confirmed by Electronic Arts (EA).
It turns out it will come with a bowling content, too. The reveal was made on the official Twitter account of the video game franchise, in which a preview of the game packs was shared.
The long-rumored vampire-centric DLC for "The Sims 4" will be released this winter. This means that it could be available this month or the next. The clip also confirms that "The Sims 4" game pack will bring back the infamous bat-morphing, which means that vampires can take the appearance of a bat. Last month, dedicated "The Sims" fans have been finding references to this Vampire DLC. There are animations showing Sims doing a creepy walk and aging rapidly. There are also codes that pertain to "death by sunlight" and other vampire-related mayhem. It was also uncovered that there will be retractable vampire teeth, which means players can choose not to don them. The vampire DLC for "The Sims 4" was pretty much all but confirmed then, but EA stuck with its teaser release schedule, which is why it is just revealed now. This is why it also does not come as a surprise for many. After all, vampire content has been a staple and a favorite in "The Sims" franchise. What shocked many, though, is the second DLC announcement. EA also unveiled a bowling-themed game pack for "The Sims 4" this spring. The clip teases that this content will kill the boredom of those Sims who have been feeling they are in a rut.
More details about the upcoming "The Sims 4" DLCs should be revealed soon especially for the vampire DLC as it would be released possibly in the coming weeks. These game packs are just a slice of the bulk of new content set for release for "The Sims 4." Sims gurus are teasing more to come.
