'The Sims 4' DLC rumors: Seasons Pack coming? Possible references to DLC found
It looks like vampires, bowling and toddlers are not the only ones coming to "The Sims 4" in the near future. Hints of a possible new downloadable content (DLC) have been dug up too.
The folks over at Sims Community have reason to believe that a Seasons game pack is coming to "The Sims 4" and the information is all over the game.
The site noticed that the Toddlers update in particular is peppered with references to a Seasons DLC that is possibly coming to "The Sims 4."
Two new icons in the game that seem to resemble winter and fall have many thinking that they will be a subject of a new DLC and that this is Electronic Arts' (EA) way of dropping hints although Sims Guru Drake pointed out this is nothing to be taken seriously.
A book for toddlers in "The Sims 4" called "When is Winter?" was also found. The description deepens its possible connection to a Seasons DLC. Here is how the book is described:
"Is it spring? Not now, but soon. Is it fall? Perhaps, by noon? Is it summer? The heat, seems likely. When is winter? Who knows, but it's coming."
Sims Community posed a caveat that none of this has been confirmed yet, so it is best to take it with a pinch of salt. Either way, it is possible that a Seasons DLC could be added to "The Sims 4," possibly even along with Pets.
The Sim Gurus have been asked about this in the past and have hinted it as well. When asked on Reddit if Seasons and Pets could arrive in the game soon, Sim Guru Daniel replied, "I think so. But what do I know?"
The release of the Holiday Pack also gave them the chance to crack a joke about the possible DLC: "What do you get when you cross seasons with pets? Rain Deer."
Whether or not a Seasons DLC is coming to "The Sims 4" soon remains to be seen. While there may be hints and references, they do not tell the whole story.
