Fans of "The Walking Dead" may get to see a different Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) in the next episodes of the hit AMC series as he is expected to shave his beard prior to meeting a blonde woman who could become his future romantic interest.

This is just one of the spoilers coming out online as the group of apocalypse survivors tries to reach the Alexandria Safe Zone.

With the arrival of Aaron (Ross Marquand) in last week's episode, the upcoming episode could see the addition of several new characters. One of the new characters who are due to pop up is Aaron's boyfriend Eric (Jordan Woods-Robinson). Eric and Aaron are also present in the comics that inspired the TV series. In the books, as soon as Eric meets Rick and his gang of survivors, he informs them that he looks out for Aaron after he returns from each of his recruiting missions and kills the people he returns with if they prove to be dangerous.

Meanwhile, before Rick and gang reach the Safe Zone they will have to battle a huge group of walkers. This was shown in a trailer for the upcoming episode titled "The Distance."

Rick is seen instructing the group to keep looking in every direction because "they are coming for us."

"They" could mean the walkers that Rick and the other survivors are battling. But "they" could also refer to the unfriendly characters from the Safe Zone who Rick and the gang are very suspicious about.

Several people are also referred to in the "The Distance" trailer. It also appears that Glenn Rhee (Steven Yeun) will be bitten by a walker. However, Glenn and the rest of the gang will eventually make it to the Safe Zone, according to spoilers appearing online.

There in the Safe Zone, Rick will reportedly shave his beard in an effort to fit in and look normal. Rick is due to meet a blonde woman played by Alexandra Breckenridge. But indications point out that this will only happen in the next episode after "The Distance."
