'The Walking Dead' season 7 episode 8 spoilers: Rosita tries to shoot Negan but hits Lucille instead
Now that Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) has given Carl (Chandler Riggs) a grand tour of the Sanctuary, what's going to happen next in the midseason finale of "The Walking Dead"? According to the official synopsis for season 7 episode 8, something is going to go wrong while Negan is visiting Alexandria. It sounds like all hell is going to break lose in true "The Walking Dead" fashion. Will Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Aaron (Ross Marquand) get back in time with the supplies for Negan?
The synopsis may not have revealed much, but Redditor TheDidact118 was kind enough to share some plot details he got his hands on. According to the Redditor, Rosita (Christian Serratos) is going to shoot Negan with the bullet Eugene (Josh McDermitt) made. Unfortunately, she misses and hits Lucille instead. Well, Negan is not going to be happy when he sees the damage on his favorite bat. In fact, he'll be absolutely livid.
Negan will allegedly tell Arat (Elizabeth Ludlow) to kill someone as a punishment, and she chooses to shoot Olivia (Ann Mahoney) in the face. Poor Olivia. Fans probably thought Spencer (Austin Nichols) is going to get killed in this episode since his comic book counterpart was disemboweled while Negan was visiting Alexandria. But Olivia gets the short end of the stick instead.
After Eugene admits to making the bullet, the Saviors are going to abduct him and bring him to back to the Sanctuary. Fans can breathe a little sigh of relief if the spoilers are legit because there won't be a bloodbath. Olivia isn't so lucky, but at least Negan won't be harming anyone else.
The spoilers also reveal that Daryl (Norman Reedus) finally escapes and he kills Fat Joey (Joshua Hoover) along the way. He sees Jesus (Tom Payne) and both of them leave on motorbikes. Meanwhile, Rick is back and it looks like he wants to take Negan down.
"The Walking Dead" season 7 episode 8 will air on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 9 p.m. ET on AMC.
