'The Young and the Restless' spoilers for week of Oct. 17: Patty escapes prison; Nick and Sharon bond

"The Young and the Restless" is getting more intense and spoilers for the week of Oct. 17th reveal that it's about to get even more complicated.

According to reports, Patty (Stacy Haiduk) will escape to the mental hospital to confront Sharon (Sharon Case). She will be stirring up a lot of trouble especially for Sharon and Mariah (Camryn Grimes), who will panic once they find out that Patty has escaped prison.

The two have been trying to protect their secret for so long and now that crazy Patty is out in the open, they are afraid that people will finally find out that Sully is baby Christian all along.

Nick (Joshua Morrow) is also close to finding out the truth. He has been hanging out with Sharon lately and spoilers suggest that they will bond even more.

They will enjoy each other's company and it cannot be denied that sparks will fly. Does this mean that Sharon will feel something for Nick while Dylan is away? And if the end up liking each other, how long it will last?

Nick is bound to find out the truth about baby Sully and it's only a matter of time until everything will be revealed. He will be heartbroken once he learns the real identity of Sully.

Meanwhile, spoilers from Soap Central reveal that Jill (Jess Walton) will advise Billy (Jason Thompson) to get along with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). The two have been fighting like cats and dogs but Jill will try to get in between them. Moreover, it's also said that Billy will be confronting Jack (Peter Bergman).

Jack is furious with his brother and wants to take a revenge on him. He has something planned for him and it's going to cause a lot of damage to Billy. In turn, Billy will end up with his feeling hurt.

However, it's said that he will not go down without a fight. He will also come up with his own plan. A war between the two brothers is expected to erupt soon.

"The Young and the Restless" airs every Monday to Friday on CBS.
