No matter how many fans have been a little disappointed with how season 2 turned out, many still want to hear news about "Tokyo Ghoul's" next anime installment. Rumor has it that there might be a major change in the production studio that will handle the next season. There are also speculations that suggest a hair color change for Touka Kirishima.

It has been more than a year since "Tokyo Ghoul" season 2 concluded. Some reports say that the possible delay is caused by a major change in production. It has been speculated that Studio Pierrot, the company that created the first and second seasons of the anime, is handing over the driver's wheel for creating season 3 to Madhouse Entertainment.

There have been mixed reactions to the possible change in production studio. Some fans feel good about it since Madhouse Entertainment is known to produce some of the most well-received anime series by a worldwide audience such as "One Punch Man" and "Death Note." Other fans fear, however, that it might cause another wide difference from the manga story compared with what will be presented on the screen, while others do not feel positive about the change because they feel that the delays can be attributed to the speculated change of animation studio.

As for what to expect from the plot, there have been reports that point to a change in the appearance of Touka. From the familiar deep purple hair, Touka is expected to get a new white hair color in season 3.

More than the hair color change, there have been rumors that the "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 plot will focus on Touka's journey of getting into college. It is believed that she will be having a hard time to find a college or university to enroll at in season 3.

As for what awaits the main character Ken Kaneki in season 3, he is expected to face extreme difficulties in resisting his desire to consume human flesh.

Considering the recent reports, it is hard to assume when "Tokyo Ghoul" season 3 will hit the small screen again.
