New downloadable content (DLC) is coming to Tom Clancy's "The Division," and it's called "Survival." As of now, the DLC is available for PTS (Public Test Realm) for the PC, and though no official release date has been determined, some gameplay footage has managed to find itself online.

Thanks to Youtube user Like BuTTeR, fans can get a first look at the "Survival" gameplay and what to expect from the expansion. The video lasts for about 50 minutes and goes in depth as to the new elements that players can get from the upcoming DLC.

The mode is described to be the entire map that has been completely covered in snow. The player spawns somewhere outside of the map, and they will have to gather rations and supplies while they fight other players on the outside, all while going further toward the dark zone.

Based on other reports, the game will have two modes that could either have players going against the environment (PvE) or going against a group of different players (PvP). The PvE mode looks to be a coop type mission where players can meet with others on the map and help each other survive whatever the storm brings. PvP, however, will grant players an additional 20 percent added to their Survival score whenever they win.

Patch 1.5 of the game is also expected to come with a new World Tier and a bunch of new weapons and gear. There will also be changes to Enemy Armor Damage. It's also said that hip fire-on weapons now recoil much worse than when it's fired down the sights of a gun.

So far, reactions have been positive for the new DLC, and it's said that it could bring an entirely new experience when it comes to the game.

No official release date has been announced for "Survival" or Patch 1.5, but players can help with the development by participating in the PTS for the game.
