'Vampire Diaries' Season 6 Spoilers, News: Emotions Cause Crazy Deeds
Julie Plec, the executive producer of "The Vampire Diaries," called season 6 very interesting with all the characters out to do something crazy in its latest television offering airing.
"Vampire Diaries this season is so fun and fresh and so exciting to write," Plec told E! Online. "All the characters are all going through all this crazy stuff that is deeply rooted in their own emotional experience."
Stefan, played by Paul Wesley, will display this emotional decisions according to the series' executive producer. Known to be the last living man of the Salvatore family, he will be determined to make the kind of life he wants this time and will not necessarily affect anybody he knows for now.
Season 6 of the TV series started off after four months following its previous one. The last episode in season 5 showed the death of Bonnie and Damon trapped inside the crumbling on the Other Side. Their deaths were received by Caroline, Elena and Stefan quite badly, as shown on the premier of the new season.
Michael Malarkey, who plays Enzo, is back. As the next episode approaches, viewers were given a spoiler in a sneak peek.
Caroline, played by Candice Accola, and Enzo will be doubling their efforts to bring back Damon, portrayed by Ian Somerhalder, and Bonnie, played by Kat Graham; the lost characters in the previous season.
Meanwhile, executive producer Caroline Dries said Enzo is "up to something" and his unknown actions will affect Damon and Stefan's stories. Dries also revealed that Stefan and Enzo will have varying reactions on Damon's death.
The executive producer also hinted that Caroline and Enzo will have a lot of flirting in the upcoming episodes.
"We'll continue to have that dynamic between the two," she added.
In "Yellow Ledbetter," next episode's title, viewers will know Alaric's answers to Elena's appeal. While the second episode will revolve around hints on Damon and Bonnie's real situation, fans would also have to prepare for Stefan and Elena's steamy kiss on the third episode.
Season 6 of "The Vampire Diaries" airs Thursday at 8:00 pm on the CW.
