Van Halen Tour 2015 News, Info: Band Announces TV Appearances, Summer-to-Fall US Tour

The band Van Halen recently announced that it will be touring the U.S. during the summer and fall, kicking off with a number of television appearances. The band plans to perform on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for two nights on March 30 and 31.

This will be the first time the rock group will perform on television since lead singer David Lee Roth split from the band and later rejoined it in 2007. The group will perform on Hollywood Boulevard on March 30, and this will air over two nights on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Van Halen is also due to release a new live album titled "Tokyo Dome Live in Concert" on March 31. Its performance on the television show appears to be a promotion for the album.

The album will feature 23 songs recorded by the band live in Japan in 2013. To be released on the same day are remastered versions of the band's albums "Van Halen" and "1984." This will be followed by more remastered editions of the band's songs from the eighties featuring Roth.

After the band performs on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the members are due to head over to "Ellen" where they will perform on April 2. Their tour, which is scheduled to start through the summer and run through the fall, will kick off on July 5 when they play in the White River Amphitheater in Seattle, Washington. This will be followed by a tour of 39 cities in the United States, culminating with a performance on Oct. 2 when they take over the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California.

The band was due to tour in 2012, but it was aborted amid reports of infighting among the members. Later, Eddie Van Halen had to deal with a serious digestive problem.
