AMC has issued an apology for its 32 million Facebook fans for unintentionally posting a spoiler of the "Walking Dead" Season finale right after the episode was aired on the East Coast.

It included a photo of a lifeless Beth (Emily Kinney) being carried by an emotional Daryl (Normal Reedus) outside a hospital, captioned "RIP Beth."

AMC's official apology reads, "We heard your feedback to last night's post, and we're sorry. With zero negative intent, we jumped the gun and put up a spoiler. Please know we're going to work to ensure that, in the future, possible spoilers by official AMC social feeds are killed before they can infect, certainly before the West Coast (U.S.) broadcast of The Walking Dead."

"As always, thank you for watching, and keep the comments coming. We appreciate all of your support. #RIPSpoiler," it continued.

The ratings were not affected at all, as the show still gathered 14.8 million viewers. To make up for the spoilers, fans have requested for a sneak preview of their February premiere as the show returns for another season.

Meanwhile, fans are not very happy about the way the show ended Beth's character. But Emily Kinney, who plays Beth, is quite happy about how things have turned out for her character, who had to meet an untimely death. Beth was shot in the head by Officer Dawn Lerner (Christine Woods), who later died in the same episode.

Kinney reportedly didn't know about her character's death until a few hours before the script was handed out to the cast. Everyone in production was emotional about Emily leaving the show.
