It was on Nov. 15 when "Watch Dogs 2" was released, quickly gathering positive reviews from the gamers. The title's downloadable content (DLC) was anticipated next, but it seems that it has to be delayed for a while.

Recent news states that the upcoming expansion of "Watch Dogs 2" will have to be delayed since Ubisoft has to fix the issues surrounding the game. Players have noticed several problems in the game, particularly in its multiplayer mode.

The title's gameplay involves hacking and teaming up with other players to fulfill their mission. Unfortunately, such activities were not seen when "Watch Dogs 2" was launched. Players have noticed that the game lags and crashes every time the multiplayer mode is accessed.

This has caused players to become disappointed, and Ubisoft immediately took action by fixing the bugs. According to Inquisitr, the game developer does not want the problem to be blown out of proportion so they are delaying the expansion so concentrate on fixing the issues.

The DLC, titled "T-Bone," will come out until Dec. 22 for Xbox One and PlyStation 4 (PS4). PC users, on the other hand, will have access to the DLC on Jan. 24.

"This and previous patches were an important step towards stabilizing Watch Dogs 2's seamless multiplayer functionality, and other core online features, before releasing any new multiplayer content," wrote Ubisoft on the blog site. "Since these updates required additional development resources, we've made the decision to adjust our release schedule for that new content."

The statement left the fans disappointed, but the developers' decision is actually reasonable as they do not want to affect the title's base game. Multiplayer mode is usually the selling point of video games, especially for the recent consoles, since it is the avenue for players to connect with fellow players.

Good thing, players can take a glimpse of the "T-Bone" DLC via the "T-Bone Chaos Event" that offers perks for the weekly challenges.
