Personal Assistant

Cortana, the personal assistant which is currently present on many phones running Windows, will find its way into Windows 10 and replace the Bing smart search from Windows 8. Using the personal assistant, which can be found near the taskbar in Windows 10, users will be able to perform text or voice searches of the Internet and even search for files within folders. Additional features in Cortana will also enable users to switch on voice command and always keep it operational.

Integration with Xbox is another important feature in Windows 10. This updates the current Xbox app that needs to be installed and used in Windows 8. Using the new Xbox app on Windows 10, users will be able to check all their games, activity related to the games and even connect to Xbox Live and other people who are members of the service.

Multiple Virtual Monitors

Setting up multiple virtual monitors on one physical monitor is another improvement in Windows 10. Using this people will be able to place multiple apps into one desktop and hide them. They can switch to another virtual desktop where they can work on a totally different app. This new feature works with the aid of the Task view button which is present in the Windows 10 taskbar and enables working with virtual desktops.
