'Wolfenstein: The Old Blood' Game Tips and News: Just Released Prequel Brings New Weapons, Zombies and Easter Eggs
"Wolfenstein: The New Order" received a rapturous welcome from fans of the game when it was released last year. A few days back, its prequel titled "Wolfenstein: The Old Blood" was released, adding new delight to fans as they received new weapons, zombies and Easter Eggs.
Many gaming sites described "Wolfenstein: The Old Blood" as a nice follow-up to last year's game, which saw the Nazis win the Second World War.
As a prequel, the game takes place in 1946, ending just before last year's game begins. The hero B.J. Blazkowicz still has to fight the Nazis and a zombie army.
In the first part of the game, Blazkowicz has to sneak into Castle Wolfenstein and find the location of General Deathshead's compound. Like the previous game, this one is also a first person shooter. Players have to use both stealth and combat skills to achieve their objectives.
Blazkowicz has a new arsenal of weapons to use, including a shotgun, precision rifle, a handgun that fires rockets and an assault rifle in addition to a multipurpose pipe which he uses to climb walls and bash opponents. The pipe is also a great tool for killing both the living and undead when it is used correctly. It can be used to accomplish a number of other tasks as the game progresses.
As the game became available for digital download in the U.S., players were surprised when they discovered numerous Easter eggs. One of them was a Skyrim helm that can be found on office desks. It can be used as a nifty armor during a fight.
As for tips to survive the game, one of the most important is to shoot the zombies in the head, which will dispatch them quickly. Players must also watch out for zombies carrying rifles.
However, before players get to battle zombies, they will have to eliminate the Nazi officers first. This they need to do in stealth mode because once the officers raise an alarm, reinforcements will arrive in waves overwhelming the player.
