WWE Rumors update: Finn Balor may be feuding with veteran star to get big push

With the World Wrestling Entertainment finishing a successful draft recently, new stars are set to emerge and new storylines are expected to unfold.

One that fans have been very intrigued to see is how one former NXT Champion will make his career with the Raw brand.

Many were excited to see Finn Balor drafted to the main roster as there was a certain belief in him that he was ready to battle with the best superstars in the business.

Drafted by Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley to join Raw, Balor is being expected by many to not stumble like the previous NXT call-ups in recent history.

Inquisitr revealed that the WWE are potentially giving Balor the push he needs, and while these are all still rumors, a push may involve one of the veteran stars of the WWE.

According to 411mania, it appears that Balor may begin his feud with Chris Jericho.

One of the bigger names in the industry, Jericho is a savvy veteran who has excellent mic skills as well as a great worker on the mat.

Jericho is also known to be one of the stars who help put emerging wrestlers over by creating feuds with them.

Recently, Jericho had a big feud with AJ Styles just as the "Phenomenal One" made his much-anticipated debut in the WWE.

The two went on great battles that certainly built up Styles' reputation and made him a success he is at the moment.

Now, Styles is with SmackDown Live and Jericho finds himself in Raw, meaning that there needs to be a new feud in play, and pitting him against a fan-favorite in Balor should be the right call to make.

It will be interesting to see how Balor will conduct himself in Raw, but the guidance from Jericho and other veteran superstars will hopefully help him in succeeding where other NXT stars have failed.
