Brock Lesnar's return to the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has been met with disappointment with some of the company's stars.

Announced in WWE's official twitter page, the short video shows the return of Lesnar to the fold, along with the message: "#TheBeast @BrockLesnar returns to Monday Night #RAW one week from tonight LIVE on @USA_Network!"

While this is met with excitement by some fans, there has been backlash from the backstage of the WWE as reported by Sportskeeda.

Also a mixed martial artist, Lesnar recently competed at the UFC 200 event where he won over Mark Hunt via unanimous decision.

However, reports surfaced that Lesnar failed the drug test, raising questions of whether he took or is taking drugs that are not legal in both the mixed martial arts world and sports entertainment world.

Furthermore, his failed test should spill over to the WWE as the company also has a wellness policy that prohibits superstars from competing if they fail it.

Roman Reigns was one of the biggest names in the industry, but he was sidelined for 30 days after failing the wellness policy.

However, with Lesnar's immediate return, it appears he is not going to serve the same suspension.

According to a WWE spokesman, the wellness policy does not apply to part-time performers such as Brock Lesnar.

Additionally, with the WWE continuing their push of Lesnar, they are moving past the issue and are still promoting Lesnar as their best superstar; given his enormous popularity among hardcore wrestling fans and even among those who barely follow the storyline.

Lesnar is also going to be at one of WWE's biggest pay-per-view events — SummerSlam 2016. It has been announced that he will battle against another big name in the industry — Randy Orton. Many are anticipating the battle between the two legends of the sport.

Fans could expect more opinions and comments on the matter in the coming days.
