'Sense8' season 2 release date, spoilers 2016: New baddie to go after Wolfgang and Rajan because of Kala?

Aside from exploring new facets of their capabilities, it looks like some sensates would be facing troubles of the heart, too. Those are what fans should watch out for when "Sense8" season 2 premieres on Netflix in 2017.

Near the end of July, "Sense8" purportedly tapped India-based actor Sikander Kher ("Woodstock Villa") to play the role of a dark character that would rival the villainy of Whispers (Terence Mann). While Netflix hasn't confirmed this right off the bat, it looks like Kher is the new face to grace the sophomore season of the sci-fi drama based on the show's latest spoilers.

Apparently, Kher's character is on a mission to do away with Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) and Rajan (Purab Kohli). Kher supposedly has his eyes set on the two, specifically, because of their connection to Kala (Tina Desai). Viewers of "Sense8" know that the Wolfgang-Kala-Rajan love triangle is one of the show's captivating arcs, and rumor has it that Kher would play the fourth piece to that puzzle.

According to Movie News Guide, Kher's character is in love with Kala, but the latter never returned his feelings. Feeling slighted, he will target Wolfgang and Rajan, because he's aware that the two mean something to Kala. She's in love with Wolfgang but is engaged to Rajan to honor her family's wish. However, there are speculations that she would eventually develop real feelings for Rajan in the upcoming installment.

Riemelt has said previously that Wolfgang would explore a "new landscape" in the upcoming season that would see him finding "purpose again in living" while trying to stay in power at the same time. Could this mean focusing on things other than Kala, leaving Wolfgang no choice but let go of her, and Kala no choice but to give Rajan a chance?

Game n Guide reported that Kher himself said his role would be small but significant, enough to take "Sense8" season 2 to an interesting turn. Could his entry to the series settle whatever lies between Wolfgang, Kala, and Rajan?

The second season of "Sense8" would surely answer those questions.
