"Pretty Little Liars" is finally ending after six years on the air and after numerous twisted plots and inside-out theories revolving around Rosewood's most controversial group of friends, who fans have affectionately called the Liars. Will loose ends finally be tied when the series airs its final episode?

The season 7A summer finale ended on a surprising note, with Spencer (Troian Bellisario) getting shot and fighting for dear life as Mary Drake (Andrea Parker) revealed that she is Spencer's biological mother. As per series creator I. Marlene King, that revelation will set the tone for the final half of season 7. She said it will be a "driving engine for Spencer's emotional story" coming into season 7B. Apparently, Mary's revelation will also affect the other liars.

Every "Pretty Little Liars" season finale since its pilot always ends with so many unanswered questions and cliffhangers. Fans are hoping that King will stay true to her previous pronouncement that the story will come full circle in the second half of season 7, which is slated to start airing April 2017. In fact, Ali's (Sasha Pieterse) pregnancy just might prove pivotal enough to tie up the loose ends.

Meanwhile, the cast of the series had their final table read on October 5, and each of the stars took to social media to share photos from the event. Lucy Hale, who plays Aria on the series, even posted one with a lengthy and emotional caption on her Instagram account. According to TV Line, Hale claims she's sitting around at the final table read with a "heavy heart" and that the foundation and strength of the series were their friendship, referring to herself, Bellisario, Shay Mitchell (Emily Fields), and Ashley Benson (Hanna Marin).

In related news, Vanessa Ray, known for her role as Charlotte DiLaurentis or "A," spoke to Us Weekly and revealed that Charlotte might not have died in the season 6 winter premiere after all.

"I have been keeping up with the show, and you might see my face soon. I love getting to be around that crew and the lovely cast," she teased.

While her possible comeback for the final half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7B is still a bit down the road, it looks like Charlotte still has a few tricks up her sleeves. It remains to be seen if "A" will come back from beyond the grave when the series returns.

The second half of "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 returns to Freeform in April 2017. In the meantime, keep coming back for more news and updates about the show.
